A Wellington artist has taken out a $25,000 dollar prize for a rather unusual piece of work.
Poppy Lekner's piece, 'Forward Slash', consists of hundreds of forward slashes on a single sheet of A4 paper.
It was chosen as the winner for the Parkin Drawing Prize from an impressive 482 entries nationwide.
