Microsoft is in talks to buy part of TikTok, a Chinese social media app which is popular with young people around the world.
If the sale goes ahead the tech-giant will take control of the app in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
President Trump has warned he will ban the app in the United States unless the sale goes ahead by September the 15th.
He says TikTok is a a threat to national security because of the data it gathers from users.
