Poll showing National Party on 25pct 'unbelievable' - Gerry Brownlee

From Morning Report, 8:10 am on 27 July 2020

The Leader of the Opposition, Judith Collins, is dismissing last night's Newshub Reid Research poll which put her party at 25.1 percent.

Labour is on 60.9 and on that number it would be able to comfortably govern alone with 77 MPs.

National would have just 32.

Prime Minister Jacinda Arden says while she has a healthy scepticism about such polls, she doesn't regard it as a rogue result.

Gerry Brownlee is the chair of National's election campaign.

He speaks to Corin Dann.
