Covid-19: NZ has developed world's lowest death rate

New Zealand has the lowest death rate from the Covid-19 pandemic in the developed world.

A new comparative analysis looked at the death rates among the 37 members of the OECD.

New Zealand, which has had 22 deaths, or 4 deaths per 1 million population is 49 times lower than the OECD average.

Belgium has the highest death rate, 10,000 deaths or 845 deaths for every 1 million people.
