Kiwibank has bowed to pressure and dropped a ban on doing business with brothels and strip clubs.
It launched a responsible business banking policy this month which put parts of the adult entertainment sector into the same category as fossil fuels and palm oil companies.
Now it is changing the policy, but it still classes brothels as a sensitive sector with high potential for harm.
