Winston Peters confirmed that two political operatives that led the Brexit campaign in the UK are working on the New Zealand First election campaign on Monday.
Peters told Morning Report a contract had been signed with Arron Banks and Andy Wigmore - the self-styled "Bad Boys of Brexit".
Carole Cadwalladr is a journalist for The Guardian, noted for exposing the Cambridge Analytica scandal and her behind-the-scenes reporting on the Brexit campaign.
Last year she reported that Banks had a "covert relationship with the Russian government" - a claim that he took her to court for.
