Companies forecast trouble over school bus tenders

Bus companies are predicting some small and medium sized firms will go to the wall because of the Ministry of Education's plan to put school bus routes out to tender.

It's been 12 years since companies got to compete for about $1.4 billion in school bus service contracts.

Operators say the new system is a farce and blatantly unfair.
