The Government has issued new Covid-19 testing guidelines for GPs after concerns testing rates dropped.
Rules were tightened just last month to focus on those at highest risk, such as people working at the border or those who had been in contact with an infected person.
Health Minister Chris Hipkins says there is no room for complacency which was why the government wanted to see testing numbers come back up.
