From Morning Report, 6:41 am on 15 July 2020

Judith Collins is the new leader of The National Party with Gerry Brownlee chosen as her deputy. The MP for Papakura was elected in an emergency meeting at Parliament last night, following the shock resignation of Todd Muller yesterday morning, after only 53 days in the top job. Speaking after the leadership vote, Collins, says her main focus will be winning the election so National Party can fix the economy.
