Health officials blame poor US Covid-19 response on anti-science bias

Health officials in the US are increasingly blaming the country's poor response to the pandemic on an anti-science bias.

Experts like Anthony Fauci say people are ignoring the threat of Covid-19, and instead partying in big groups without social distancing, or refusing to wear masks in public.

Adrian Bardon is a professor at Wake Forest University, and has written a book called "The Truth About Denial."

He told RNZ Worldwatch reporter Max Towle most people aren't actually anti-science.
