Reports Trump was briefed on events he says he was not

The White House is under pressure to explain how much the President knew about allegations Russia offered the Taliban bounties to kill US troops. Officials have insisted that President Donald Trump was not "personally" informed of the alleged plot in Afghanistan in 2019. But reports say the president received a written briefing earlier this year. And top lawmakers who've been briefed on the matter are divided along party lines.
