From Morning Report, 7:27 am on 30 June 2020

The Australian state of Victoria reported 75 new cases of Covid-19 infections yesterday. That's the fourth-highest day of new cases in the state since the pandemic began.

The state's chief medical officer, Brett Sutton, said lockdowns were being considered for the worst-affected parts of Melbourne.

Corin Dann speaks to ABC reporter Casey Briggs, who said that nearly all of the new cases are being locally transmitted.
