The latest political poll has boosted the National Party's political fortunes.
In the first 1 News Colmar Brunton poll since Todd Muller rolled Simon Bridges to take the leadership, the party is up nine percentage points.
It is still lagging 12 points behind the Labour Party, which has 50 percent support. Labour's Coalition partners the Greens are at 6 percent and New Zealand First on 2 percent.
