National is clawing back support, according the latest 1News Colmar Brunton poll.
In last month's poll, the day before Simon Bridges was rolled as leader, support for National slumped to just 29 percent- the lowest result for the party since 2003.
National is now sitting at a much healthier 38 percent, but Labour still has a clear lead at 50 percent, enabling it to govern alone.
