Victoria University of Wellington is coming under fire for their decision to continue with online learning for the second trimester.
Students will be taught classes both in-person and online, but some say there's no excuse for the university not to return to normal, and allow students to attend all classes in person.
The University says students will be offering the on-campus experience for most courses, with students able to attend in-person lectures, tutorials and other learning opportunities.
It says they have to remain ready to adapt to the situation, if the government raises the alert level once again.
The university didn't clarify how many classes would be available in-person, but said the mode of delivery would be determined on a course-by-course basis.
First year student Izzy Ford told our reporter Harry Lock, the move to continue with holding some teaching online was disappointing.
She says that frustration has been compounded by a lack of clear communication throughout the pandemic.
