Trade Minister on UK trade deal

The Trade Minister says New Zealand is pleased to be among the first countries to begin negotiations on a trade agreement with the United Kingdom post-Brexit.

New Zealand and the UK formally launched negotiations yesterday.

The UK is New Zealand's sixth largest trading partner, with two-way trade totalling nearly $6 billion last year.
