Trans-Tasman bubble blueprint given to Prime Ministers

A blueprint for a trans-Tasman travel bubble is now on the desks of both the New Zealand and Australian prime ministers.

The safe border group, made up of business and government representatives from both sides of the Tasman, has provided a number of recommendations for a safe air corridor.

The group of 40 experts has recommended multiple layers of protection to ensure passengers do not bring Covid-19 with them when flights reopen.
