School vans will be leaving in a few minutes to scour Auckland roads for students left behind by public buses.
Macleans College principal Steve Hargreaves is sending out the college's vehicles to pick up students along the main bus routes to the school.
With Alert Level 2 rules restricting how many people can get on a bus, it's expected that anywhere up to 200 of the school's pupils could be left stranded.
