National Aquarium's Government funding bid denied

From Morning Report, 8:53 am on 15 May 2020

The National Aquarium in Napier could close within two years after the government signalled it won't help pay for a multimillion dollar renovation.

The city's Mayor says ratepayers should not pick up the tab.
