Coronavirus: Italy begins to ease lockdown restrictions

Monday marked the beginning of a new way of life for many people around the world, as a number of countries eased their restrictions.

In Italy, a country with one of the highest death tolls in the world, 4.5-million people returned to work, with the wearing of facemasks compulsory for everyone.

The Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte says the country is "turning a new page".
