NZ Symphony Orchestra to put performances online

From Morning Report, 8:55 am on 25 March 2020

As we prepare to enter lockdown, all remaining gatherings such as concerts - even those without audiences - are now cancelled.

That extends to a planned New Zealand Symphony Orchestra performance which was due to be livestreamed tonight.

But now the orchestra cannot get together, so it will be sharing videos of performances by its best players, such as Bach's Bourée Anglaise tonight at 7.30pm.

Among those who're performing is the orchestra's concertmaster Vesa-Matti Leppänen
