Coronavirus: What it's like under lockdown in Barcelona

An ice rink in Madrid has been turned into a temporary morgue as Spain tries to cope with the fallout from its rapidly spreading coronavirus outbreak.

More than five hundred people have died in the past day - bringing the total to just under 2700 - and means the Spanish death toll could soon overtake China's.

Jesse Stevens is a New Zealander in a suburb of Barcelona and has been in lockdown for 10 days.

The government has recently extended the lockdown there until April 12.

He speaks to Corin Dann.
