Covid-19: Developments over the last 24 hours

There have been several developments in the past 24 hours due to Covid-19. - The International Monetary Fund has announced NZ$80 billion dollars in funding for affected countries - Italy is closing all schools from Thursday for at least 10 days - Iran is also closing schools and universities until early April because of coronavirus - California has declared a state of emergency after announcing its first coronavirus death, a 71-year-old who had been a passenger on the cruise ship the Grand Princess. - That cruise ship with about 2,500 people on board is now being held off California. CNN is reporting at least 11 passengers and 10 crew members currently on board have developed symptoms., - UK regional airline Flybe has collapsed, saying virus is partly to blame. IATA, the International Air Transport Association, is saying the virus could cost the industry NZ$180 billion in global revenue this year.
