The police commissioner says all the recommendations from an independent review into how police handle internal bullying complaints will be acted on within a year.
The key finding in lawyer Debbie Francis' review was that the Speak Up complaints system for reporting bullying should be ditched.
It has been criticised because complaints lodged through the system went straight to the complainant's boss - who was usually the person being complained about.
The police commissioner, Mike Bush, told reporter Ben Strang that getting a better process is his top priority.
