Police using proceeds law in health and safety case
Police are using the proceeds of crimes laws for the first time in a health and safety case against an Auckland oil recycling business. Salters Cartage and its owner Ron Salter were sentenced in 2017 for safety breaches after an explosion killed a young contractor in 2015. They're now fighting an attempt by police to seize their property over the workplace death. Matt Blomfield is a spokesperson for the Salter family. He speaks to Susie Ferguson.
