The tourism industry has held back from calling for an end to the ban on foreign travellers arriving from mainland China, saying it understands that people's safety must come first.
The temporary restrictions - put in place to try to keep the coronavirus out of New Zealand - are set to expire tonight, but Ministers will consider this morning whether to extend them.
