RNZ Concert petition organisers still have questions

From Morning Report, 7:47 am on 13 February 2020

RNZ has backed down on plans to fire RNZ Concert presenters and turn the station into an automated music service.

After a strident campaign by Concert supporters, spearheaded by former Prime Minister Helen Clark, RNZ chief executive Paul Thompson told staff yesterday the plan to change RNZ Concert had been shelved.

Music teacher Margaret Guldborg and music writer Elizabeth Kerr organised a Save RNZ Concert petition which has been signed by more than 26,000 people.

They speak to Susie Ferguson.
