Intelligence agencies received more than 450 tips about people expressing extremist views in the months after the March 15 terror attack.
Security Intelligence Agency Director-General Rebecca Kitteridge and Government Communications and Security Bureau Director-General Andrew Hampton appeared before the Intelligence and Security select committee yesterday.
Kitteridge told reporters after the committee hearing that the number of people under active investigation at any one time has increased since the attack.
