NZ 5G situation wont change - Andrew Little

Boris Johnson's government has allowed Chinese tech giant Huawei's to install its technology on the United Kingdom's mobile network, but with restrictions including exclusions from sensitive parts of the network. It comes after significant concerns were raised by the United States and opposition in the UK government about Huawei being a potential surveillance risk. Last year the GCSB blocked Spark's application to use Huawei tech in its 5G rollout in New Zealand and the Government is keeping a close-eye on developments in England. Minister responsible for GCSB, Andrew Little, speaks to Susie Ferguson.
