The interim Retirement Commissioner says raising the Superannuation age will do more harm than good, and there are more pressing things to fix first.
In the latest three-yearly review of retirement income policies, Peter Cordtz says fears that NZ Superannuation will diminish or disappear for future generations should be laid to rest.
He says the focus instead should be on improving KiwiSaver, and doing more to help people earn and save for their retirement.
