Integrated schools confront government over maintenance money

From Morning Report, 6:47 am on 3 December 2019

Integrated schools are accusing the government of breaking promises over funding.

The schools have been excluded from a $400 million property maintenance scheme.

The 330 mostly church-owned schools will miss out on payments ranging from $50,000 to $400,000. They argue this is in breach of their agreements with the government.

Paul Ferris is chief executive of the Association of Proprietors of Integrated Schools.
