The Christchurch City Council executives will be undergoing intensive retraining on how to manage Official Information requests after an extremely critical report.
The Chief Ombudsman has uncovered a culture of secrecy among the senior ranks, where information was either wrongly withheld from the public and elected councillors or edited and manipulated to make the council look good.
