Amnesty International says it's outrageous the government will allow for only five days of public submissions on its controversial Terrorism Suppression Bill.
The Bill faced an early stumbling block when the Greens refused to support it, and National promised its support only if changes were made.
The Greens are now backing the bill after negotiating changes.
The legislation would strengthen the government's ability to clamp down on foreign fighters returning to New Zealand.
