Campaigning begins for UK general election

Campaigning in the UK's general election has officially begun.

The British parliament has been dissolved, and Boris Johnson has been to see the Queen at Buckingham Palace, marking the formal start of the general election campaign - ahead of the vote on 12 December, 2019.

The Prime Minister filmed a video in the car on his way to see the Queen.

The leader of the opposition Labour Party, Jeremy Corbyn, is promising what he called "real change".

The BBC's political correspondent Rob Watson speaks to Susie Ferguson.
