The awards recognise the behind-the-scenes talent in New Zealand's music industry.

Dave Dobbyn's manager Lorraine Barry was amongst the winners at the New Zealand Music Artisan Awards. Ms Barry won New Zealand Music Manager of Year for her long career with Dave Dobbyn and more recently with Avantdale Bowling Club's Tom Scott. It's the fourth year for the awards, which recognise the behind the scenes talent of the country's music industry.
RNZ Music's Yadana Saw was at Wellington's Massey University where the awards took place on Monday night.
