Police shouldn't pursue young people

From Morning Report, 8:26 am on 24 October 2019

The Children's Commissioner wants police to change their police around pursuing young drivers, because teenagers don't make good decisions under pressure. "If police know or reasonably suspect children or young people are in the car, unless it's life and death, unless it's something really serious - they shouldn't pursue. The risks are just too high," said Judge Andrew Becroft.
