Firefighters yet to get on roof to directly tackle the fire

The fire at the Sky City Convention Centre is still burning this morning. Road closures are still in place and will be through the morning peak period. About 25 Fire and Emergency vehicles remain on the scene, and smoke is still billowing over the central city. People who work in the central city are being asked to work from home again if possible. Firefighters are yet to get on the roof or inside to directly tackle the fire. It was hoped the roof would burn out overnight, allowing them to lower firefighters onto the building from above - but fragments of roof remain. RNZ's Amy Williams is at the cordon.
