Woman fell 'extraordinarily unwell' by resthome care

The Deputy Health and Disability commissioner says a woman who died of an infection at an Auckland resthome required hospital-level care throughout her stay, but never got it. Deputy commissioner Rose Wall says she was extraordinarily unwell by the time she was taken to hospital, six months after arriving at the home.
