Auckland cyclists travelling as fast as cars near walking bus

Some cyclists are travelling as fast as cars on the Auckland cycleway where a walking school bus had to be suspended. Auckland Transport has spent two months measuring speeds on the Northwestern Cycleway after Newton Central School canned its walking bus this year because of dangerous near misses. And the data shows the odd motorcyclist could be sneaking on too - one likely candidate going 80 kilometres an hour along the narrow fenced route. Rowan Quinn reports.
