Ruapehu locals bracing for long-term closure of SH4

Ruapehu district businesses and health services and are bracing for the long-term closure of the main highway between Whanganui and Raetihi. A large chunk of the road collapsed last week, with detours adding at least an hour to travelling times . The Transport Agency says the area is still highly unstable and how to fix the problem is yet to be decided. Chen Liu reports.
