Climate activist objects to Rod Carr appointment
A climate activist is questioning how someone can be appointed to head a commission which doesn't yet exist. The government has announced that former Reserve Bank deputy governor and Canterbury University vice-chancellor Rod Carr will chair a new Climate Change Commission. Activist Christine Dann says says it's highly questionable to announce such a role when the Zero Carbon Bill - which would enable a commission to be set up - hasn't even gone through the select committee process.
