From Morning Report, 7:52 am on 4 October 2019

The grandmother of a toddler who is believed to be stuck in a Syrian refugee camp, has gone to the New Zealand consulate in Australia to try to get her grandson repatriated. The three-year-old boy's mother was a New Zealand citizen but died, leaving the boy in the Al-Hawl camp. His grandmother - who moved to Australia many years ago - has said she will move back to New Zealand if it means she can get her grandson out of Syria. Our reporter Harry Lock, spoke to Save the Children Australia's Director of Policy and International Programmes, Matt Tinkler which has been assisting families.
