Rugby World Cup: Pacific playoff hopes looking bleak

Hopes that a Pacific Island nation will reach the knockout stage of Rugby World Cup are fading fast in the land of the rising sun. Fiji, Samoa and Tonga have all played two of their four pool matches with the Manu the only side still with their destiny in their hands, while the Flying Fijians and 'Ikale Tahi must rely on other results to keep their quarter final aspirations afloat.
