Brother talks about arrest in Michael McGrath case

A 51-year-old man is due to appear in court in Christchurch today charged with the murder of Michael McGrath, who vanished without trace two and a half years ago. Mr McGrath, a 49-year-old builder, was last seen at his Halswell home. His body has not been found. The arrested man has not been named. Mr McGrath's brother Simon told our reporter Nicholas Pointon the police called the family on Sunday night and told them an arrest was imminent. He says the two and half years since his brother vanished have been gruelling.
