Weekend of upsets at Rugby World Cup

It's been a weekend of upsets at the Rugby World Cup in Japan. First the hosts toppled Ireland 19-12, a win which gives the Brave Blossoms a great chance to reach the knockout stages of the tournament for the first time. Then Wales beat Australia 29-25 in a closely fought and controversial game in Tokyo. The Australian coach says as a former rugby player he's embarrassed by the refereeing inconsistencies. Michael Cheika was frustrated and bewildered by the rulings. We speak to RNZ columnist Hamish Bidwell who has been keeping an eye on the action over the weekend.
