Maori Women cautiously welcome for women's gang chapter

A Porirua Mongrel Mob leader has reacted angrily to plans for a women's chapter of the gang in Waikato. Paula Ormsby has told the New Zealand Herald she will lead Mongrel Mob Wahine Toa, which will be part of the Waikato-based Mongrel Mob Kingdom. Dennis Makalio from Porirua says the gang's other chapters will never accept the idea of patched women. But the move is being cautiously welcomed by the Maori Women's Welfare League. We speak to the league's president, Prue Kapua.
