Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern spoke at a special event in New York honouring the 150th anniversary of the birth of Mahatma Gandhi, a symbol of India's campaign for independence and a byword for non-violent protest. She's among several world leaders who spoke about how Gandhi's values have inspired them in challenges they have faced in their political lives. But not everyone holds Gandhi in high esteem -- Obadele Kambon is a research fellow at the University of Ghana's Institute for Africa Studies and led a successful campaign to have a statue of Gandhi torn down. He told Corin dann Gandhi was undeniably a racist.
