World leaders rebuked over climate change inaction

The Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg has delivered a scathing rebuke to world leaders at the opening of the United Nations Climate Action Summit in New York. The 16-year-old is credited with starting a global protest movement after she began a solitary strike outside of her school. She used her speech to ask the leaders 'how dare you?' Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern told world leaders New Zealand is determined to be the most sustainable food producer in the world. She said New Zealand would lead the way on international collaboration on agriculture. RNZ's deputy political editor Craig McCulloch is in New York.
