Census data reveals only 68% of Maori filled out the census

The first release of Census data was released yesterday, revealing only 68% of Maori filled out the census. An independent review panel has also refused to endorse the Stats NZ's quality rating of ethnicity data, because there were so many gaps for Maori and Pacific.The statistics minister is James Shaw.
