Chch mayor bans councillor from events involving young people

Christchurch's mayor has banned one of her councillors from attending any events involving young people after complaints he'd sent grossly inappropriate messages. One of the three complainants was just 13 years old. So far the mayor has not named the councillor, leading some councillors to say they're now under a shadow. RNZ's Christchurch reporter Conan Young says the mayor, Lianne Dalziel, has known about the complaints since May this year.
